The Basic Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 - 2 tablespoons ceremonial cacao powder or paste
- 1 cup milk of your choice
- 1 - 2 teaspoons sweetener (maple syrup, honey, or coconut sugar)
- Pinch of sea salt
- Your dosha specific herbs and spices
The Simple Method:
Warm your milk until steaming. Whisk in the cacao until smooth and frothy. Add sweetener and salt. Stir in your chosen herbs or spices. Pour into your favorite mug. Breathe in the aroma. Sip slowly.

Quick Dosha Guide:
Vata (Air energy): Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Ashwagandha powder, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla, extra sweetener. Use full fat cow or plant milk.
Kapha (Water energy): Add 1/4 teaspoon each ginger and cinnamon, pinch each cardamom and black pepper. Use minimal sweetener and lighter plant milk.
